ABOUT LAURA
Owner, Laura Fanning, has several years experience in the horse world and is a Equestrian Canada certified Western & English Instructor, Trail Leader, Guide and Evaluator. Laura is also a trained English Competition Coach and has completed training in vaulting, P'Tit Trot, and the Rookie Riders program (Formerly known as the First Gait program).
With 25 plus years of experience as a Nationally recognized Sport Coach and a registered member of the National Fitness and Sport Leadership Alliance with a university background in Kinesiology, Laura brings a unique set of values to her lessons that includes recognizing the importance of rider fitness.
Laura has been a 4H leader since 2008 and was nominated for Leader of the year award in 2012. In 2013 she was awarded Provincial coach of the year in Prince Edward Island.
Since moving to Vancouver Island in 2014 with her family, Laura has been an active Pony Club volunteer, serving as the District Commissioner for Greater Victoria Pony Club (GVPC) from 2015-2019 and the National Director from 2017-2020. She is a current Pony Club Examiner.
Laura specializes in teaching beginner and recreational adults, teens, and young children up to competition level in both western and English disciplines.

Laura offers Equestrian Canada Rider Level testing for both English (Levels 1-6) and Western Disciplines (Level 1-4)
